Who I am
PharmaContent Studio is a freelance medical writing service run by Cong, a UK registered pharmacist. I am the data controller for personal information collected through this website. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, email me at pharmcontent.studio@gmail.com.
What I collect
When you use the contact form, I collect your first and last name, your email address, your preferred contact method, your phone number (if you choose to give it) and anything you write in your message.
When you browse the site, my website host Squarespace collects basic analytics information such as the pages you visit, your approximate location and the type of device and browser you use. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner.
How I use it
To reply to your enquiry and discuss your project.
To send quotes, drafts and invoices if we work together.
To understand how visitors use the site so I can improve it.
I will never sell your data or add you to a mailing list without your permission.
Lawful basis
Legitimate interests: replying to enquiries you send me.
Contract: delivering work we have agreed.
Legal obligation: keeping financial records for HMRC.
Consent: analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Who I share it with
Squarespace, which hosts this website and stores contact form submissions.
Google, which provides my email account and the reCAPTCHA spam check on the contact form.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months.
Client records and invoices are kept for 6 years to meet HMRC requirements.

Essential cookies keep the site secure and working. Analytics cookies help me see which pages are useful, and are only used with your consent. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
access the personal data I hold about you
ask me to correct or delete it
object to or restrict how I use it
ask for a copy to move to another provider
withdraw consent at any time
